Training toward Global Certification of “Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator” and “Certified Computer Examiner”
Forensic science (often shortened to forensics) is the application of a broad spectrum of sciences to answer questions of interest to the legal system. This may be in relation to a crime or to a civil action. It is now so closely associated with the scientific field that many dictionaries include the meaning that equates the word "forensics" with "forensic science."

According to Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (HKCERT), there were only a total of 390 incidents officially reported from a year 2005 survey. From those reported incidents, the average financial loss per victimized company is HK$2,617. The reported number is very low due to a high number of un-reported crimes. Many companies said that its trivial, and they prefer to ignore it, some think it will create negative publicity towards the company, some did not report to the police because they think police can’t help, and some were even unaware that it could be reported.
